LUCID HAZE 'Live at World Culture Museum' LP

On the 30th of January 2016 a notorious party was hosted at the World Culture Museum in Gothenburg, Sweden. It would later become the most infamous feast in the museum’s history and change their party policy for all foreseeable future.

Swedish electronic music composers Krister Linder and Magnus Birgersson (aka. Solar Fields) were booked to join forces for a special one-off performance. The concert would center around a set of cross-pollinations of the two composer’s separate works.
The night was also to premiere the formation of their joint project: Lucid Haze.

For years, the only known recordings of the Solar Fields / Krister Linder concert was a film on YouTube by Swedish photographer and director Jean-Paul Bastiaans. But today we proudly present to you a selection of six gorgeous highlights from the concert, both on CD and 180 grams premium quality vinyl. We raise our chalices and announce the advent of LUCID HAZE. With this unique recording, we cordially invite you to enter our time capsule and be transported back to, as far as the World Culture Museum is concerned, the party to end all parties.

Artists bios:

Krister Linder is a Swedish-Congolese artist and award winning film score composer for cinema and tv. Besides lending his voice to occasional collaborations, such as DJ Sasha’s “Cut Me Down” (2011), Linder have garnered international attention for his soundtracks in feature films like “Downloading Nancy” (dir. Johan Renck), “Metropia,” “The Nile Hilton Incident,” and “Boy From Heaven” (dir. Tarik Saleh), and this year’s “Salem” (dir. Jean-Bernard Marlin).

With 20 album releases as Solar Fields, Swedish artist / producer Magnus Birgersson has established his name on the contemporary electronic music scene. He has also performed his music all around the world from clubs, concert halls to the major festival stages, Solar Fields’ atmospheric and euphoric soundscapes also became the soundtrack for EA Games’ dreamy adventure “Mirror’s Edge & Mirror’s Edge Catalyst.” Which he composed the music too.
Today, Solar Fields is regarded as one of the most influential and innovative electronic music artists of his generation. His music has inspired countless fans and fellow artists, and his artistic vision continues to evolve, pushing the boundaries of the electronic music genre. Despite his success, Solar Fields has remained a relatively private individual. He rarely gives interviews or makes public appearances, preferring to let his music speak for itself. His fans, however, have been vocal in their admiration for his work, earning him a loyal following around the world.
